Camden, Sept. 13. – The official vote for county officers was as follows; For clerk of court, W. A. Schrock 773, Joel Hough 1,066. For sheriff, R. B. Williams 921, J. S. Trantham 913. For supervisor, J. B. Phelps 1,159. C. W. McCaskill 667. For superintndent of education, B. B. Clarke 927, R. P. Odom 879.

There is a contest over the sheriff’s election, which will be heard Monday. There is a difference of only 8 votes between the two candidates for that office.

Misses Lillie and Carrie Dunlap of Atlanta, who have been visiting the family of Mrs. A. D. Leitner, left today.
