DEATH OF MR. W. W. MICKLE

Estimable Citizen of Kershaw County Dies After Short Illness

Special to The State.

Camden, July 10 – Mr. Willis W. Mickle, after a short illness, died at his home near Camden this morning. The deceased was about 55 years old, and aside from this illness was hardly sick more than a few days in his life. He was born in Kershaw County, at the Mickle place above Camden, and has lived most of his life there and at the home east of Camden at which he died. He was a successful planter and a most estimable citizen. He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Elizabeth Niles, and the following children, all of Camden; Mrs. E. B Lorie, Mary, Lucile, Sarah, and Messrs, J. B., Jr., Willis W. Jr., and S H. Mickle.

The funeral services were conducted from the Presbyterian church, of which he was an elder, this afternoon.
