Turberville, July 25. – Mrs. M. E. Pittman, widow of the late A. I. Pittman of Raleigh, N. C., died yesterday morning at the home of her son, Dr. I. W. Pittman. She was 72 years old, and had suffered for some time from disease of the spine. The body was taken to Fairmont, N. C., yesterday afternoon for burial. Her sons, Dr. I. W. Pittman of this place and Rev. A. E. C. Pittman of Blaney, survive her.
