G. T. Hughes, who has been doing ministerial supply work in Spartanburg since his graduation from Wofford last June, spent last week with his mother, Mrs. B. D. Hughes. Mr. Hughes will enter the South Carolina Methodist conference in November.
At the last regular meeting of the Ladies’ Aid society, held at the Methodist church, the president, Mrs. John Paul, resigned, owing to the fact that she will make her home in another city after October 1.
