Meet For Prohibition

Citizens of Blaney Want Iron Clad Law.

Blaney, Jan. 27. – A very enthusiastic meeting was held at Balney tonight in the interest of prohibition and a very strong resolution was adopted for a stringent, ironclad prohibition law and a committee of four consisting of the Rev. W. H. Whaley, the Rev. T. J. Cupstid, Dr. H. E. Vaughan and Dr. W. D. Grigsby was appointed to attend the prohibition meeting to be held at the Jefferson hotel in Columbia, Tuesday night.
