Fairfield Mission Rally.

Meetings Today Will Be Held at Mt.Elon, Blaney, Harmony.

The rally for home and foreign missions planned by the ministers and laymen of the Fairfield Baptist association to extend to every church in the association will be held today in the Mt. Elon, Blaney and Harmony churches. Rallies will be held in other churches of the association in the near future. An all-day meeting is planned for the Mt. Elon church near horrell Hill. Lueco Gunter,State supervisor of elementary rural schools, will make the principal address at the morning service and the Rev. C. E. Burts, pastor of the the First church, Columbia, the principal address at the afternoon service. C. W. Estes of Columbia will preside over the rally, Dinner will be served on the grounds. at the rally this morning at the Harmony church the rev. W. J. Langston, efficiency secretary of the State mission board, will be the principal speaker. The Rev. W. E. Denham, pastor of the Second church, Columbia, and the Rev. Mr. Langston will address the congregation at the rally this afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Blaney church.
