Horse Restored to Blaney Owner

The horse which disappeared from the stable of W. W. Price, a planter at Blaney. A few nights ago and which was reported as having been stolen, the theory of thief having been based on reports reaching the officers, has been found and restored to Mr. Price by Sheriff Heise and Rural Police Chief Dunaway. The animal was found serenely cropping grass by the side of a road and the discovery was reported to its owner.

The officers investigating the disappearance of the horse were advised that some one had seen the horse in charge of two negroes who were leading the animal toward the city. Mr. Price took up the trail and followed the horse’s footprints many miles along a highway.
