Ridgeway, August 16. – Carrie Phillips has returned to her home in Jacksonville, after a visit to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Wilson.
Miss Christine Bowen of Blaney, spent last week with her cousin, Miss Margaret Lucile Crumpton.
Mr. Mrs. Henry A. Moore and Miss Sara Kennedy are spending a few days in Hendersonville and other points in western North Carolina.
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Palmer, Jr., and son of Greenville, are spending the month with Mr. and Mrs. Norman Palmer, Sr.
Mrs. Stella Nelson has returned from a visit to relatives in Lugoff.
James Harrison, Jr., of Columbia, spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Harrison.
Miss Janet Nealy of Leslie, spent the weekend with Miss Mattie Tidwell.
Mrs. Aubrey Williams and children, of Norway, are visiting the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Tidwell.
Miss Laura Kennedy of Sumter, is the guest of Miss Anna Baxter.
Miss Thelma Tidwell has returned home after having spent the past few weeks with relatives in Norway.
Mr. and Mrs. Nicholson of Woodward, have rented the McKelvey house and have moved to Ridgeway. Mr. Nicholson has accepted the principalship of the Ridgeway High school for the coming session and Mrs. Nicholson will teach two of the intermediate grades.
