Miss Monnie Ross Dies at Blaney
Miss Monnie Ross, 18-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Ross (Nancy H. Goff Ross), of Blaney, passed away at her home late Saturday afternoon. She was ill but a few days and her passing was a distinct shock to her community, where she was held in the highest esteem. She was a young lady of sterling Christian character, her cheerful and sunny disposition endearing her to all with whom she came in touch.
Funeral services were conducted in the presence of a large gathering of sorrowing friends and relatives Sunday afternoon at Union Baptist church, afternoon at Union Baptist Church, interment following in the church yard. the grief stricken parents and relatives have the full sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.
