The funeral service of the late Mrs. Sally Ann Brown, who died at the home of her grandson, Hayne Powers, 216 Williams street Thursday, November 1, 1923, were held at 2 o’clock Friday, November 2, 1923, afternoon at Union Baptist Church near Blaney, with interment in the churchyard.

Mrs. Brown, aged 61 years, was a woman who had made many friends. She was a native of Kershaw county, but had been living here for sometime. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

She is survived by four children; Louise Roberts of Winnsboro; W. M. Roberts, Columbia; Mrs. B. Powers, Columbia; Mrs. Sallie Ross, Blythewood.
