Dies at Hospital After Long Illness

Mrs. Suzanna Koon of English died at a local hospital at 7:40 Saturday night after an illness of several months. Mrs. Koon was the widow of the late Henry Koon.

She was a devoted Christian and a woman of noble character. Her death has cast a pall of sorrow over the members of her family and over numerous friends in Richland county.

Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock this morning at Union Baptist church, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Harrellson, pastor. Interment will be in the churchyard.

Mrs. Koon is survived by four sons, J. W. Koon of Lykesland, D. B. Koon, J. J. Koon and W. H. Koon, all of English, and one daughter, Mrs. Carrie Miles of Blaney. A brother, Henry Ross of Blaney, also survives.
