Governor Richards Friday appointed several magistrates for Kershaw County. These are:

J. E. Copeland, magistrate at Bethune.

J. D. Watson, magistrate at Blaney.

W. M. Peake, magistrate at Lugoff.

J. R. Franklin was named magistrate at Cross Anchor, in Spartanburg county.
