Blaney, March 16. – Next Wednesday, March 20, in the school auditorium at 8 o’clock the Lexington County B. Y. P. U. association will present a comedy. “Aaron Slick From Punkin Center,” under the auspices of the senior class here.

Jesse T. Ross and sons, Willis and J. T. went to Greenville Sunday to visit his daughter, Beatrice, who is a a student at Greenville Women’s college.

J. D. Watson made a business trip to Raleigh, N. C., last Saturday in his car.

Miss. Dezma Monroe returned to Summerland college after spending the week-end with her parents here.

Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Grigsby and children, of Columbia, spent last Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Kelly.

Miss Willie May Andrea entertained with a dinner last Tuesday evening, complimenting the teachers in Pine Grove school, where she teaches. Covers were laid for Misses Nettie Roberts, Louise Rabon, Katie Funderburke, Connie Lee Andrea, Mrs. C. S. Andrea and Leonardo Andrea.

J. L. Nelson, of Columbia, was the guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Morgan (Sarah Alice Nelson Morgan).
