Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Beasley of Florence are spending the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Broom.

Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher Henson are returning to their home in Charlotte today after a week spent with the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Henson.

Mrs. C. O. Gillion and daughter, Dorothy Gillion, and son Claud Gillion, Jr., and Miss Lillian Jones are visiting relatives in Portsmouth, Va.

Mr. and Mrs. Reese Austin are at home from a visit to relatives in Columbus, Ohio.

Mrs. Leland Kempson is at Saluda spending some time with her parents.

Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Griffith of No. 2 Haskell avenue had as their guests the past week J. E. Amaker and son, Adrian Amaker, of Greenwood.

B. N. Fowler of Richmond, Va., is visiting C. O. Gillion on Pendleton street.

Miss Margaret Jacobs is at home from Dayton, Ky., where she has been spending some time with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Jacobs.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Isbell and son, Douglas Isbell have gone to Ocalla, Fla., where they will spend some time with Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Isbell.

Mrs. Julian White and children spent the last weekend at St. Matthews with Mrs. White’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. White.

Mrs. Alice Davis of Orangeburg is visiting Mrs. C. O. Gillion on Pendleton street.

Miss Inez Ross and Miss Susie Campbell of Blaney are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Ross of Gervais street.

Mrs. C. C. Fleming has as her guests her daughter, Mrs. Lonnie Finklea, and three children of Hyman and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Frank Fleming, and four daughters of Miami, Fla.

Mr. and Mrs. Giles Fleming are on a motor trip to the mountains of North Carolina spending most of the time as the guests of Dr. and Mrs. Rich at Candler. They will also be the guest of friends at Lake Junaluska and Ednaville before returning home.
