Mrs. Alice Robinson of Lincolnton, N. C., motored down Friday for a visit to Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Robinson at their home on Taylor street.

Mr. and Mrs.G. W. Gregory of Lynchburg were the guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fisher for several days last week. Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Fisher and son, Charles Jr., of Birmingham. Ala., also spent awhile with the Fishers.

Mr. and Mrs. Claude Gillon and daughter, Misses Mildred and Dorthy and son, Claude, Jr., with their niece, Miss Doris Zeigler, motored to Portsmouth, Va., where they are the guests of Mrs. Tyler Hatchell and Mrs. Ernest Hatchell, sisters of Mrs. Gillion.

Misses Louise Smith, Elizabeth and Annabelle Long are in Hendersonville where they will spend two weeks.

Mr. and Mrs.Edward Cobie and children are spending the weekend in Charleston, where they are the guests of relatives.

Misses Wilma and Cecil Newman have gone to Knoxville, Tenn., where they will visit among relatives for two weeks.

Mrs. Giles Fleming has returned from Clemson college where she has been connected wit ht eopportunity school.

Miss Margaret Miscally is in Lykesland attending a house party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Campbell.

Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Youngblood and children have returned from a motor trip to Richmond and Newport News. In Richmond they visited Mrs. Youngblood’s brother and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland Moody.

Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Peake and daughter, Betty Jean, are spending the weekend in Camden, the guest of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Hall.

Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Smith accompanied by Miss Mildred Goodwin leave Tuesday by automobile for Savannah and Tybee where they will spend a short vacation.

Mrs. Frances Bryan is spending the week with her grandson and granddaughter, Mr. and Mrs.Harry Ulmer, at Bower’s beach.

Miss Beatrice McGee, Blanche McGee, Louise Garvin and Aldrige Garvin of Wagner are the guests of Mrs. Douglas Carter on the two Notch road for a short stay.

P. L. Bouknight, Jr., and Lavoy Bouknight spent some time last week with their grandmother, Mrs. G. R. Eleazer at Irmo.

Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Griffith have returned from a motor trip to Greenwood, where they were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Amaker, Miss Ona Griffith is at home from Saluda where she visited Miss Vivian Griffith.

Mrs. E. E. Ulmer and daughters, Misses Frances and Marian, are on an extended visit to relatives at Pageland, Bluffton and Savannah.

Mrs. E. C. Hahne of New York City who has been visiting Mr. and Mrs.William McGee in Wagner is spending a while with Mrs. Douglas Carter and Miss Ella Jordan on the Two Notch road.

Dr. and Mrs. T. A. Lucas and daughter, Miss Frances, and son, Thomas, with Miss Mary Gilmore, have returned from a motor trip to Charleston.

Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Gibson, Misses Jaunita and Pearl Gibson and J. V. Moody of Blackville motored over Saturday and are the guests of Mrs. H. H. Youngblood at 1721 Two Notch road.

Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Finklea and children who have been the guests of Mrs. C. C. Fleming at her home on Lady street have returned to thier home at Hyman.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gibson are the guest of friends on a motor trip to the Isle of Palms for the weekend.

Mrs. John Argo of Woodford was the guest of Mrs. W. H. Tiller for a short stay last week at her home on Gervais street. She motored up to visit her little granddaughter, Mary Ruth Jackson, who is a patient at the Columbia hospital.

Miss Evelyn McNeil left Friday for Blaney where she will teach during the winter.

Miss Lorena Mefford is at home from Spartanburg where she has been the guest of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. William Mefford for and extended visit.

Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Smith had as their guests during the past week, Mrs.Delma Randolph and daughter, Frances, of Johnson.

Miss Mildred Goodwin is in Johnson, the guest of Mrs. Clyde Butler. She is expected home Monday.

Mrs. Jesse Smith of Chester is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gibson on the Two Notch road for a short stay.

Mr. and Mrs. Dannis Watts and sons, Billy and Jack, are in Charleston the guests of relatives.

Mrs. G. R. Bush of Hopkins is spending some time with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Henson on Laurel street.

Mr. and Mrs. Reese Austin are home from a visit to Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Brown in Danville, Va., and relatives in Charlotte.

Billy Hornsby, young son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Hornsby, is in Sumter, the guest of Coke Lawrence for a week’s visit.
