GOVERNOR NAMES COUNTY OFFICERS

Makes Appointment in Lee, Anderson, Laurens, Kershaw, Jasper.

Governor Olin D. Johnston has appointed several officers for counties, including magistrates for Lee and Kershaw; supervisors of registration for Laurens and others.

Following is a list of the appointees: Magistrates for Lee County: M. B. McCutcheon, at Bishopville; Carl Thomas, Lamar, for Cypress township; George W. Johnson, Lucknow, for Lucknow township; Wallace Hancock, Rembert, for Spring Hill township; Floyd Dalrymple, Bishopville, for Stokes Bridge township.

Tax collector for Anderson county, Joseph P. Noblitt, Anderson.

Supervisors of Registration for Laurens County; A. Wright Sims, Waterloo; J. C. McMillan, Clinton; A. M. Copeland, Clinton.

Magistrates for Kershaw County; For DeKalb township, B. M. Smith, Camden; Buffalo township, J. A. Young, Bethune; Kershaw township, C. L. Threat, Kershaw; Flat Rock, G. R. Clements; Liberty Hill; Westville; Wateree township, J. D. Watson, Blaney; Wateree township, Frank J. Rabon, Lugoff.

Auditor and treasurer for Kershaw county, B. E. Sparrow and C. Joe Outlaw, respectively.

Auditor for Jasper county, W. M. Sauls Ridgeland.
