Blaney Winner Over Kingstree

Special to The State.

Blaney, Aug. 4. – The Blaney veterans made it three in a row by defeating the kingstree Veterans at Blaney Saturday, thereby winning its 14th victory out of 16 games played this season.

King and Wolmer’s hitting along with Robinson’s home run provided the bat power behind the pitching of “Lefty” Hawkins, who tossed a steady brand of high class baseball after relieving Phelps in the second inning.

THe brilliant fielding of Jimmy Bell at first base from the Blaeyites was the outstanding feature of this game.
