LEXINGTON, Aug. 17. – Monday Miss Patty Roff entertained 12 friends with a “bean supper’ and “Scavenger” hunt. The following were guest: Misses France Louise Oswald, Ruth Wingard, Frances Rose Hook, Phyllis Mitchell, Betsy Harmon, Patty Roof, Phillips Brooks, George Roberts, R. H. Caughman, T. C. Callison, Gene Hiers and Bill Oswald.

Miss Elizabeth Drayton of Bishopville is visiting Miss Mary Ella Vassey.

Miss Evelyn Smith of Easley is visiting Miss Nellie Kyzer.

Misses Thelma Taylor and Stella Lee Sidler left today on a house party at Myrtle Beach.

Miss Octavia Risher of St. George is visiting her sister, Mrs. M. Z. Gibbes.

Misses Patty Roof and Phillys Mitchell are spending several days with Mrs. Julia Prothro in Aiken.

Miss Bertha Efird spent last weekend at Pawley’s Island with her sister, Mrs. J. S. Kinard.
