MRS. LIZZIE BROWN DIES AT HOSPITAL
Mrs. Lizzie Brown, 60, of 1712 Gist street, died at 9:15 last night at the Columbia hospital after an illness of one week. Mrs. Brown entered the hospital at 6 o’clock yesterday afternoon.
She was a member of the Church of God, Rose Hill, and leaves many friends who will be saddened to learn of her passing.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. J. M. Sanders of Blaney, Mrs. Kizzie Thomas of Florence, N. J., Mrs. L. E. Huffstetler of New Brookland and Miss Annie Brown of Columbia; two sons, Eddie Brown and George Brown of Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. Nannie Tidwell of New Brookland and Mrs. Gatsy Gates of Columbia; one brother, Henry Jeffords of Concord, N. C. and numerous other relatives.
