BLANEY RITES HELD FOR MAN
Funeral service for Edward M. Flaherty, 70, of Blaney were conducted at 4 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at Blaney Baptist church by the Rev. J. B. Caston and the Rev. Mr. Hardwick. Interment was at Blaney cemetery.
Mr. Flaherty died at his home Tuesday after an illness of a few hours.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Minnie Harmon Flaherty, two daughters, Mrs. J. D. Watson and Mrs. L. P. Rose, Blaney; three sons, J. L. Flaherty, C. M. Flaherty of Hamlet, N. C., and J. B. Flaherty of Raleigh, N. C.; and one sister. Mrs. Fletcher Faust, Columbia.
Pallbearers were S. W. Rose, A. K. Rose, Jessie F Ross, S. H. Ross, John Abbott and M. Perry.
FLAHERTY RITES ARE HELD TODAY
Edward M. Flaherty, 70, Blaney, died suddenly at his home at 11:40 yesterday morning after an illness of a few hours.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Minnie Harmon Flaherty; two daughters, Mrs. J. D. Watson and Mrs. L. P. Rose, both of Blaney; three sons, J. L. Flaherty and C. M. Flaherty of Hamlet, N. C., and J. B. Flaherty of Raleigh, N. C.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 o’clock this afternoon from the Blaney Baptist Church by the Rev. J. B. Caston assisted by the Rev. Mr. Hardwick. Interment will follow in Blaney cemetery.
