Cayce People Have Many Visitors

CAYCE, Jan 15. – The Baptist W. M. U. circles met with the following member Tuesday: Mrs. W. B. Lesesne, Mrs. G. T. Goodwin, Mrs. C. B. Harrison, Mrs. J. P. Butler, Mrs. G. E. Price and Mrs. Colie Hughes.

Mrs. Rubye Johns of Bamberg returned to her home in Bamberg Wednesday after a visit to her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Joyner.

Mrs. T. M. Vaiden was hostess to the Methodist Woman’s Missionary society at her home Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. M. H. McLin and son, Marshall, have moved to Fort Mill where they will make their home.

B. W. Johnson is ill at his home here.

Mr. and Mrs. Price Spivey returned to the home in Washington, D. C., Sunday, having been the guest for a week of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Shirley.

Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Rucker and daughter, Miss Nora Ellen Rucker, spent Saturday at their cottage at Folly Beach.

Mrs. Paul Brandon and Miss Annie Lou Walters of Greenville were recent guests of Miss Hilda Harrill.

George Wilson of Sumter is visiting at the home of J. C. Craig.

W. H. Johnson of Blaney is the guest this weekend of his mother, Mrs. W. H. Johnson.

Recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Spires have been the Rev. and Mrs. F. L. Frazier, of Hartsville, and Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Frazier, of St. Matthews.

Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Beem of Charlotte, N. C., are guest of the latter’s mother, Mrs. L. L. Corder.

The Y. W. A. of the Baptist church will meet with Miss Annie Johnson at her home, Monday night at 8 o’clock.

The P. T. A. will hold its January meeting at the school auditorium Tuesday night at 7:30.
