Blaney, Aug. 30. – The Blaney school will open the 1938-39 Session Thursday morning, September 8. A meeting of all teachers is scheduled for Wednesday night, September 7.

The teaching staff for the year follows:

High School; Miss Ellen Alexander, Mountville; J. C. Metts, Prosperity; Miss Doris Carter, Elliott; P. G. Chastain, Taylors; C. A. Byrd, Blaney, superperintendent.

Grammar School: Miss Dorcas Culbertson, Greenwood; Miss Belva Funderburk, Pageland; Mrs. A. T. Simpson, Blaney; Miss Beatrice Ross, Blaney; Miss Nancy Robertson, Heath Springs; Miss Annie Ruth Davis, Kershaw; Miss Margaret Davis, Winnsborol; Miss Madge Funderburk, Pageland; Harold Funderburk, Pageland.

Kenneth Baldwin, Columbia, will again teach music and direct the Glee club. Mrs. Mason, Blaney will have charge of the county library unit.
