He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Catherine Hutchinson Dennis, of Columbia; also two daughters, Mrs. Maud Dew, Columbia, and Mrs. Coleman; two sons, S. M. Dennis, West Columbia and Henry C. Dennis, Columbia. Survivors also include two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Strickland of College Place and Mrs. Mary Kelly of Lugoff, and one brother John Dennis of Columbia.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o’clock Sunday morning from the Jackson Creek Baptist church. Interment will follow in the churchyard.

Robert D. Dennis, 76, a lifelong resident of Columbia and West Columbia, died at 4 o’clock yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Annie Coleman, near Blaney after an illness of several weeks.
He was a member of the Jackson Creek Baptist church.

The funeral for R. D. Dennis, a lifelong resident of Columbia and West Columbia, was conducted at 11 o’clock yesterday morning from the Jackson Creek Baptist church.
