WADE H. O’NEAL FUNERAL IS HELD

HARTSVILLE, Jan. 9 – Funeral services for Wade H. O’Neal, 63, were held this morning from the Antioch Baptist church; services were in charge of the Rev. B. F. Carson of Blaney, assisted by the Rev. Howard M. Reaves.

Interment was in the family plot in the church cemetery.

Mr. O’Neal passed away early Thursday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lingle, on the Hartsville-Darlington highway. he had been sick for several weeks.

He was born and reared in Darlington county near Hartsville. Surviving are his widow, who before her marriage was Miss Lollie Marie Tedder; two daughters, Mrs. R. M Foster of Cordova, and Mrs. Ben C. Lingle, of Hartsville; four sons, Hollace O’Neal, Guy O’Neal, J. D. O’Neal, and Laurin O’Neal; one sister, Mrs. Mary C. Howle, Hartsville; one brother W. T. O’Neal of Mullins and three half-brothers, George O’Neal, Ben O’Neal, and Dargan O’Neal.

Wade H. O’Neal, Hartsville, Dies

Hartsville, Jan. 8 – (Special) – Wade H. O’Neal, 64, died early Thursday Mr. O’Neal passed away early Thursday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ben C. Lingle, on the Hartsville-Darlington highway. he had been sick for several weeks. He had been born and reared in Darlington county near Hartsville.

Funeral services conducted at 11 o’clock Friday morning from the Antioch Baptist church by the the Rev. B. F. Carson of Blaney, assisted by the Rev. Howard M. Reaves. Interment will follow in the family plot in the church cemetery.

Surviving are his widow, who before her marriage was Miss Lillie Marie Tedder; two daughters, Mrs. R. M Forter of Cordova, and Mrs. Lingle, of Hartsville; four sons, Hollace O’Neal, Guy O’Neal, J. D. O’Neal, and Laurin O’Neal; one sister, Mrs. Mary C. Howle, Hartsville; one brother W. T. O’Neal of Mullins and three half-brothers, George O’Neal, Ben O’Neal, and Dargan O’Neal; and several other relatives.
