Willie B. Browen Passes at Blaney
Blaney, Jan. 9 – (Special) – Willie B. Bowen, 67, Blaney farmer, died at his residence at 12:30 Friday afternoon after an illness of one week.
The sone of the late Mr. and Mrs. Preston Bowen, he was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral services will held from the Union Baptist church, Blaney, at 11 o’clock Sunday morning. Interment will be in the churchyard.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Minnie Evans Bowen of Blaney; one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson of Lugoff; two sons, Lawrence B. Bowen of Columbia and Nick Bowen of Blaney; two brothers, Ben Bowen of Lugoff and Zack Bowen of Blaney, and eight grandchildren.
