Polly Ann Bundrick Griffin was born December 9, 1856 in Lexington county, South Carolina, daughter of Caroline Catherine E. Stoudemire Bundrick.

Mrs. Polly Ann Griffin, 86, died at her residence in Pontiac early this morning, November 27, 1943. Born in Lexington county, she had spent the greater part of her life in Pontiac.

She is survived by her husband, James Griffin; four sons by a former marriage, J. W. Ellison of Blaney; H. L. Ellison of Columbia, W. B. Ellison of Great Falls, and J. H. Ellison of Columbia; also 24 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o’clock from the Spears Creek Baptist Church followed by interment in the churchyard.

Active pallbearers are to be her grandsons, Honorary pallbearers are to be Earl Jacobs, Curtis Jacobs, Dr. Grigsby, Tillman Medlin, Roy Hornsby, and W. D. Sanders.
