Jacobs Offers For Commissioner

Earl J Jacobs of Pontiac today announced formally as a candidate for Richland county commissioner from Center township.

Mr. Jacobs, who is 41, was born and reared a Pontiac.

He has been engaged in the lumber business the past six years, and has operated a large farm at Pontiac.

In announcing his candidacy, Mr. Jacobs made the following statement:

“I am vitally interested in producing and maintaining, as economically as possible, the system of roads which will serve every community.

“Also, I am interested in providing adequate living conditions for our aged and helpless.”

Mr. Jacobs is married, Mrs. Jacobs being the former Miss Evetta Jacobs of Pontiac. They have three daughters.
