Horace T. Jacobs of Pontiac and Columbia will serve as chairman for the building program of the proposed new Sunday school at the Crescent Hill Baptist church.

Active in the work of the church, Mr. Jacobs is a member of the board of deacons, building fund chairman, church treasurer and chairman of the property committee.

He has been in the tailoring business here for 28 years, is a member of the forestry commission, served as recent grand jury foreman and is active in other civic matters. Mrs. Jacobs is the former Miss Clara Mae Kizer of Holly Hill. They have three children.
