WINNSBORO, Feb. 1 – Funeral services for Walter Sharp will be conducted tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. at the Stevengreene Memorial Baptist church. Interment will be in the Asbury cemetery.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Carrie Walker Sharp; six sons, Curtis Sharp, Luther Sharp, Arthur Lee Sharp, Henry W. Sharpe, all of Winnsboro; Marian A. Sharp of Strother and Larry Jeffers Sharp of Blackstock; three daughters, Mrs. D. L. Leagon of Augusta, Ga., Mrs. J. J. Jones and Mrs. H. E. Faulkenberry of Winnsboro; five brothers, Feaster Sharpe, Charnell Sharp, J. C. Sharp, and E. C. Sharpe and Arthur Sharp, all of Columbia. Two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Branham of Blaney and Mrs. Henry Boone of Pontiac.

WALTER SHARP

Winnsboro, Jan. 31 – (Special) – Walter Sharp, 74, died tonight at his home in the Douglas Section of Fairfield county. He was born and reared at Blythewood, but had moved to and was employed by the Winnsboro Mills from 1921 until 1939.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Carrie Walker Sharp; six sons, Curtis Sharp, Luther Sharp, Arthur Lee Sharp, Henry W. Sharpe, all of Winnsboro; Marian A. Sharp of Strother and Larry Jeffers Sharp of Blackstock; three daughters, Mrs. D. L. Leagon of Augusta, Ga., Mrs. J. J. Jones and Mrs. H. E. Faulkenberry of Winnsboro; five brothers, Feaster Sharpe, Charnell Sharp, J. C. Sharp, and E. C. Sharpe and Arthur Sharp, all of Columbia. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 Wednesday afternoon from the Stevengreene Memorial Baptist church, conducted by the Rev. J. R. McGill, asssited by the Rev. W. A. Kennedy of Blackstock.

Interment will be in the Asbury cemetery at Blythewood.
