Llewellyn Eugene Ward was born December 18, 1926, the son of J. P. Ward and Margie Holtzendorf.

WINNSBORO, Sept. 13 – Funeral Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. today for Llewellyn Eugene Ward, YN-2, U.S.S.N., of the United States Navy.

The Services will be conducted at the Gordon Memorial Methodist church by the pastor, Rev. John L. Sandlin. Interment will be in the town cemetery.

Mr. Ward was killed recently in an accident off the coast of Florida near Key West.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Frances E. Ward; one daughter, Joe Ellyn Ward; his father, J. P. Ward of Barnwell, his mother, Mrs. Margie Holtzendorf of Lake Geneva, Fla.; two brothers, Fred Ward of Elfers, Fla., and Leon A. Ward of Hastings, Fla., and a sister, Mrs. Jaqueline Kelly of Blaney.

Until the hour of the funeral the body will be at the Harden Funeral home here.
