Two Shaw Field air force men were hospitalized and another slightly injured in an automobile accident at about 5:30 yesterday afternoon just beyond the Veterans hospital on Highway 76, the highway patrol said last night.

Cornell Dismuke, of Fitzgerald, Ga., and James G. Alexander, home town unavailable, were admitted to the Fort Jackson station hospital after the 1949 Ford in which they were riding ran into a 1950 Ford driving by Shaw Field Airmen Elton Lee Jacobs of Blaney.

Highway Patrolman M. E. Sealy, who investigated the accident, said that the 1950 Ford was damaged to the extent of approximately $800 and the 1949 automobile was completely demolished.
