Camden, Dec. 5 – The Camden academy begins its second basketball season with a vast improvement over the 1950-51 setup when the entire squad started out with out any previous experience.

Four lettermen are back this year. Returning from last year’s squad Jacque Vogt from Lithuania, Ga., Jennings Lucas from Columbia; Ogden Babson from Roseboro, N. C., and Joe Goody from Kinston, N. C. Newcomers to the team are Bob Hart from Greenwood, Jimmy Richburg and Woody Middleton from Sumter, Mike Sincdlair from Mullins, Earl Rose from Maiden, N. C., and Buddy Register from Columbia.

January 4, Flat Creek; 16, Carlisle Military Academy, there; 22, Blaney; 25, Heath Springs.
