Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Legrand of West Bayview announce the birth of a son, Melvin Swayze LeGrand, on April 6 at the Baptist Hospital. They have three other children, Wayne, six years old; Gerald, three years, and J. L. 21 months, Mrs. LeGrand is the former Betty Earline Jacobs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jacobs (Alice Evetta Jacobs Jacobs) of Pontiac.
