Cook Funeral Set Wednesday

Funeral Services for Mrs. Lena R. Cook, 43, who died last night at her home at 1630 Standis St., Eau Claire, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Springdale Baptist Church, Raybon Crossroads, by the Rev. Grady Fletcher, the Rev. J. C. Brooks and Rev. J. C. Hunnicutt. Interment will be in the churchyard .

Mrs. Cook has been seriously ill for four months.

Surviving is her husband, Henry Cook; five daughters, Mrs. Fanny Patterson of Lexington, Mrs. Doris Stockman of Blaney, Miss Marlene Cook, Miss Mary Kate Cook, and Miss Patricia Cook, all of Columbia, seven sons, J. L. Cook, Paul Cook, Richard Cook, and Laverne Cook, all of Columbia, Harold Cook, Henry Cook, Jr., of the United States Army, and Asmond Cook of West Columbia; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Reynolds of Lugoff; six sisters, Mrs. W. W. Hawkins, Mrs. Frank Harwell of Columbia; Ms. Nathaniel Humphries of Lugoff, Mrs. Jessie M. Huggins of Blythewood, Ms. Lois Easler of Winnsboro, Mrs. Marshall Smith of Ridgeway; and one brother George Reynolds of Winnsboro.

The body is at McCormick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Henry Cook, Columbia, Dies

Mrs. Lena R. Cook, 43, died at 11:30 last night at her home at 1630 Standis Street, Eau Claire, after a long illness. She was seriously ill for four months.

Survivors include, beside her husband, Henry Cook; five daughters, Mrs. Fanny Patterson of Lexington, Mrs. Doris Stockman of Blaney, Miss Marlene Cook, Miss Mary Kate Cook, and Miss Patricia Cook, all of Columbia, seven sons, J. L. Cook, Paul Cook, Richard Cook, and Laverne Cook, all of Columbia, Harold Cook, Henry Cook, Jr., of the United States Army, and Asmond Cook of West Columbia; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Reynolds of Lugoff; six sisters, Mrs. W. W. Hawkins, Mrs. Frank Harwell of Columbia; Ms. Nathaniel Humphries of Lugoff, Mrs. Jessie M. Huggins of Blythewood, Ms. Lois Easler of Winnsboro, Mrs. Marshall Smith of Ridgeway; and one brother George Reynolds of Winnsboro.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body is at the McCormick Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers who will meet at the residence at 1:30, will be Earl Stockman, Dealus Dow, Corley Entzmanger, S. Stockman, Carl Reynolds, and Lewis Dinkins.

Honorary pallbearers, who are asked to meet at 2:25 this afternoon at the church, are Danny Rabon, George Reynolds, Leslie Moore, Ferris Nelson, J. D. Robinson, and Harry Driggers.
