Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Goff (Lessie Jeffers Goff) of Lugoff announced the engagement of their daughter, Doris Christine Goff, of Lugoff and Columbia, and A/2C Wayne Harold Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howell A Brown (Mamie Sumter Jeffers Brown), of Blaney. The date of the wedding is to be announced later.

Miss Goff Finished Blaney high school and is now employed by the Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Company in Columbia.

Airman Brown finished Blaney high school. He has served for two years in the Air Force and is now station in Burtonwood, England.
