WINNSBORO – Funeral services for Fred E. Kelly, 54, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday from Sawneys Creek Baptist Church with burial in Smyrna Cemetery in Kershaw County.
Mr. Kelly, son of the late Tom Kelly and Laura Easler Kelly of Kershaw County, died in Fairfield County Memorial Hospital yesterday afternoon. He had been ill one week.
Mr. Kelly, an employe of the U. S. Rubber Co., had lived here for the past 32 years.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Josephine Peake Kelly; one daughter, Mrs. David McDowell Patrick of White Oak; one sister, and three brothers, Mrs. Lizzie Kelly, Perdie Kelly, James Kelly and Palmer Kelly, all of Blaney, and several nieces and nephews.

WINNSBORO, March 1 (Special) – Fred E. Kelly, 54, died at the Fairfield County Memorial this afternoon. He was ill one week.
He was the son of the late Tom Kelly and Laura Easler Kelly of Kershaw County but lived here and was an employe of the U. S. Rubber Company the past 32 years.
Suvivors include his widow, Mrs. Josephine Peake Kelly; one daughter, Mrs. David McDowell Patrick of White Oak; one sister, and three brothers, Mrs. Lizzie Kelly, Perdie Kelly, James Kelly and Palmer Kelly, all of Blaney, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday from Sawneys Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. John Atkinson. Burial will be in the Smyrna Cemetery in Kershaw County.
