Motor Vehicle License Fees Distributed

State treasurer Jeff B. Bates today announced semi-annual distribution of $316,049 to cities and towns in South Carolina as their share of motor vehicle license fee. The distributions are made on a population basis with no county see receiving less than $1,000 or more than $5,000. County states distribution included: Columbia, Orangeburg, Charleston, Greenville, Florence and Spartanburg, $5,000 each, and Lexington, $1,000.
