Kershaw Gets Beer, Wine Tax Revenue

CAMDEN – Kershaw County towns have received $1,828.78 as their share of the revenue from beer and wine sales for the April-June quarter, The State Tax Commission announced today.

Over the state a total of $154,171.05 was distributed, while the commission retained $1,638,068 for the support of schools and for other state purposes.

In Kershaw County, commission records show these payments made to municipalities:

Bethune, $124.88; Blaney, $35.77; Camden $1,399.26, and Kershaw, $268.87.
