Mrs. Susie Woodards Hayes Branham, 70, of 1909 Two Notch Road, died early Saturday morning in the Columbia Hospital.

She was born in Greenville, the daughter of the late Tom Woodards and Fannie Woodards and lived in Richland County most of her life.

Mrs. Branham was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard Branham; a daughter, Mrs. Vera Sweatt of Columbia; a sister, Mrs. Lula Tyson of Columbia; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon from the Union Baptist Church at Blaney conducted by the Rev. George Pardridge. Interment will be in the churchyard.

Active pallbearers will be Horace Tyson, Willie Hornsby, Raymond Harwell, Scottie Browder, Sammy Sweatt and Andrew Curry.

The body will be at Thompson Funeral Home until time for the services.
