RIDGEWAY – J. Morgan Nelson, 82, died at the Fairfield Memorial Hospital Saturday.
Born in Kershaw County, he was a son of the late James Nelson and Effie Jane Nelson, and was a retired farmer.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Ezell Branham of Columbia and Mrs. Tally Branham, Mrs. Elton Moore and Mrs. James Murphy of Ridgeway; one son, Joseph Nelson of Ridgeway, and two brothers, Glenn Nelson of Ridgeway and Freddie Nelson of Winnsboro.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. Sunday from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Interment will be in Smyrna Cemetery.
The body will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elton Moore of Ridgeway until the hour of service.
