Walter C. Butler

ELGIN – Walter C. Butler, 86, died Saturday at his home in Elgin.

He was born in Lexington County, son of the late Jake Butler and Annie Jumper Butler. He was a retired farmer and a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Survivors include one niece, Mrs. Bertie A. Harbin of Anderson.

Funeral plans are incomplete.

The body is at the Paschal Funeral Home, Columbia.

ELGIN – Walter C. Butler, 86, died Saturday at his home in Elgin.

He was born in Lexington County, son of the late Jake Butler and Annie Jumper Butler. He was a retired farmer and a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Survivors include one niece, Mrs. Bertie A. Harbin of Anderson.

Funeral services will be held from the Harmony Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Monday by the Rev. H. T. McNeill. Interment will follow in the church yard.

Active pallbearers will be C. W. Wooten, Donnie Watson Sr., B. K. Rose, Willie Peak, Fred Bookman, and Charlie Kelly.
