ELGIN – Sidney T. Heath, 59, died unexpectedly today, September 12, 1966 at his residence in Elgin.
A lifelong resident of Kershaw County, he owned and operated a barber shop.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Corrie Rabon Heath; a son, John T. Heath; a daughter, Mrs. Tommy Davis (Martha Davis), of Chestview, Florida; four sisters, Mrs. Norman Branham of Winnsboro, Mrs. Oliver Bowen of Lugoff, Mrs. Nona Waites of West Columbia, Mrs. Maggie Neeley of Columbia; a brother, DuPre Heath of Hephzibah, Georgia; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. in the Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church in Blaney. The Rev. Wiley Evans, the Rev. Furman Harvey and the Rev. N. D. Sellers will officiate. Interment will be in the church yard.
