Ernest Rabon Rodgers has joined the staff of Richland County School District 2 as business manager, Cyril O. Havird, superintendent announced today.

A native of Kershaw County, Rodgers has served as principal of the Blaney schools during the past six years. He taught at Blaney prior to that.

He was graduated from Berry College at Mount Berry, Ga., in 1960 and received his master’s degree from Western Carolina College this summer.

He is married to the former Blondell Jeffers of Columbia.

Rodgers will be responsible for coordination and administration of business affairs of the district and all its schools.
