Mr. and Mrs. James Willard Monroe (Lois Ross Monroe) announce the engagement of their niece, Amber Kaye Ross, and Robert Wyer Simpson, III of Haddonfield, N. J.

Miss Ross is attending the University of South Carolina and is a member of Phi Kappa Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.

Mr. Simpson will receive a B. S. degree in civil engineering from USC in June.

A June 29 wedding is planned.
