ELGIN – Marvin Lee Brittain, 62, died at his home here Thursday. He was born in Connelly’s Springs, N. C., son of Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Brittain. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Hillcrest Baptist Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Laura Mae Brittain; three sons, John Henry and Marvin L. Brittain Jr., both of Elgin, Luther Brittain of Boykin; three daughters, Mrs. Harriet B. Bradham of Lexington, Mrs. Mattie Mae Brazell and Miss Orea Jean Brittain, both of Columbia.
