L. P. ROSE

ELGIN – Lawrence Preston Rose, 77, died Sunday, March 7, 1971 in a Columbia hospital.

Mr. Rose, a native of Elgin, was a son of the late John Rose and Mary Watts Rose. He was a farmer, and chairman of the Kershaw County Agricultural Stabilization Committee.

Funeral services will be today at 4:30 p.m.; in Blaney Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Lenare P. Rose of Elgin; and a daughter, Mrs. Earl W. Williams of Barnwell.

Kornegay Funeral Home is in charge.
