All family members were reported to have been born in South Carolina and lived in the same house on April 1, 1935. John Branham was a farm operator on a farm.

Funeral services for Floyd Branham, 49, of 1911 Augusta Rd., who died in a truck accident Monday, December 22, 1975 in North Carolina will be conducted Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Thompson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Billy Randall. Burial will follow in Crescent Memorial Park.
Born in Kershaw County he was son of John S. Branham and Rebecca Rabon Branham. He was a member of the Union Baptist Church at Blaney and a truck driver and a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his parents: his wife, Mrs. Gussie Eldres Branham; two brothers, Gover Branham of Rock Hill and James Branham of Elgin; five sisters; Mrs. Bertha Burns of Reno, Nev., Mrs. Nellie Stalnaker of Columbia, Mrs. Pauline King of Myrtle Beach, Mrs. Mattie Kaney and Mrs. Roxie Lee Heath of West Columbia.
