John Hudson, Jr. was born June 8, 1890 in Fairfield County, South Carolina, a son of John Hudson, Sr., and Celie Hudson.

1978

John Hudson, 88, of Blythewood, died Sunday, December 17, 1978 in a Columbia hospital.

Born in Fairfield County, he was a son of the late John Hudson, Sr. and Celie Hudson.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Rena Nelson of Blythewood; four sons, Lee Hudson of Winnsboro, John Hudson of New York, Joseph Hudson of Georgia, and Eddie Hudson of Blaney; and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ethel Jackson of Columbia.

Plans will be announced by Russell-McCutchen Funeral Home.
