William T. Young was born January 22, 1932 in Kershaw County, South Carolina, the son of Lewis L. Young, Jr., and Rena Brannon Young.

William T. Young, 49, died yesterday, August 5, 1981, at Kershaw County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow, August 7, 1981 at Blaney Baptist Church, Elgin, with burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Park at Camden.

Born in Kershaw County, he was a son of Mrs. Rena Brannon Young and the late L. L. Young Jr. he was an employee of DuPont Co., and Army veteran of the Korean conflict and a member of the American Legion.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Zida Caridad Young; a son, Maximo Hernandez of Lugoff; two daughters, Misses Marcilla Stiles and Magillia Stiles of Lugoff; his mother of Ridgeway; a brother, Marion Young of Lugoff; and a sister, Mrs. Edith Lee of Alexandria, Va.
