Mrs. Sallie Abbott Sharpe, 84, of 3805 Webb Court, widow of James C. Sharpe, died Tuesday, June 21, 1983, in Richland Memorial Hospital.
Born in Blaney, she was a daughter of the late Percy Abbott and Mary Ann Abbott. She was a member of Crescent Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs Leon Driggers (Eloise Sharpe Driggers) of Columbia, with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Frank Baldwin (Sara Sharpe Baldwin) of Eastover; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for were held today, June 23, 1983 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devin Street Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Alvin B. O’Shields. Burial was in Crescent Hill Memorial Garden.
Pallbearers will be Ross Driggers, Scott P. Fuller, Clinard Rawls, James Ross, Dick Smith, and Weldon D. Waites.
Memorials may be made to the elevator fund of Crescent Hill Baptist Church.
